"Scout" - Adorable hunter/jumper/eventor
Scout is a 9 year old 15.1 hand chestnut Quarter Horse gelding
that's more like a mini Warmblood with a classic hunter look. He is
cute enough to be a fancy hunter/equitation horse that always pops
his knees to his eyeballs and knows his distances. He has jumped up
to 3'9" and has potential to jump a bit higher. He has jumped water,
liverpool, gates, roll tops, brick walls, natural fences (including
banks, benches, coops, ditches, etc...), and skinnies. He also is
trained in dressage (shoulder in, haunches in/out, lateral work,
side passes, turn on hauches). He knows has flying lead changes and
working on automatic changes. Scout is quick learner and loves to
please so he would be great for any discipline.
Scout also has great ground manners and has no vices. He clips,
loads, and stands well for farrier and vet. He is completely sound
and never has had any issues. Safe and sane enough for a young child
or beginner. We have had young children that just begun riding and
he takes care of the them. He would be a great first horse to take a
child or adult up through the levels.
Price is currently low due to experience level. We have only shown
in local hunter/jumper/combined training shows. He always places. He
is now doing up to 3'6'' courses effortlessly. We will begin showing
him in A/AA rated shows soon, which will increase the asking price.
