*** EXHIBITOR’S PARTY *** Around 5:30 pm on Saturday there will be an exhibitor’s party near Ring 1 and everyone is encouraged to come and have fun and food. There should be more than enough food for everyone. To help guarantee this, please indicate how many people from your barn will be attending this complimentary dinner when reserving your stalls. Your best guess will be fine - we won’t hold you to an exact count! In case of inclement weather, the party will be held in the indoor.

STABLING - Stabling is in permanent box stalls. Stabling is extremely limited - entries will be closed once the 65th entry is received, unless exhibitor specifies that he/she would like to ship in and show out of their trailer ($20). Trainers: please call in advance with a stall and shavings count (309) 799-3203 - barn, (309) 737-3195 - Jan, (309) 738-7767 - Rachel, and Owners: send an entry blank with a blank check made out to Huntermark Farm or a check for $75 ($50 for the stall, $25 as a deposit towards your entries) to guarantee your stall reservation. Stalls are available from Thursday-Sunday.

PADDOCKS - A limited number of paddocks will be available for rent. For unlimited use: $100. For 2-hour turnout: $25. Guarantee in advance or try at the show office.

NON-SHOWING HORSE - Because stabling is limited, a horse that is brought to the show grounds, but does not compete in any classes must pay a $50 non-showing horse fee in addition to their stall fee for their use of the jumps, footing, and facility.

ADDS / SCRATCHES - Adds and scratches can be done at any time at the horse show office. No transaction fee will be assessed for adds any time, including at the gate; or for classes that are scratched in the office before they start. Classes scratched after they have begun will be charged in full.

JUMP ORDER - If you have a preference as to when you go, you may check in ahead of time at the in-gate and post. If there are slots that no one has posted for, a flexible order of go will be established by the gate. If you do not post yourself, it is important that you check and see when you have been posted. Notify the gate if there are any tack changes or conflicts. Exhibitors missing their place in the order will be dropped to the bottom unless other arrangements have been made. If they are not at the ring by the end of the class, an announcement will be made and a one-minute call will be put on the gate, after which the exhibitor will have missed their class with no refund of entry fees.

SCHOOLING - Both outdoor show arenas will be available before and after the show for unlimited schooling. The indoor arena (60’ x 240’, sand) will be available at all times for unlimited schooling. Ring 1 (180’ x 280’, sand) may be available for schooling while the show is going on in Ring 2. Ring 2 (100’ x 200’, sand) may be available while the show is going on in Ring 1.

FEED AND BEDDING - Shavings are available for $5/bag. Hay is available for $5/bale. Please include this information with your stall count for advance delivery or fill out an order at the horse show office for delivery during the show.

PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR - In accordance with USEF rules, all exhibitors are required to wear properly fitting protective headgear passing or surpassing current applicable ASTM / SEI standards with harness secured while riding anywhere on competition grounds.

WE WANT TO BE YOUR FAVORITE HORSE SHOW - Please let us know if there's anything that can make your show experience better or easier. We are very flexible as far as moving classes around or making any exception we can to accommodate you, within USEF rules. We have a friendly atmosphere full of people who just like to ride, show, and have a good time. Our facility includes a tack shop for those last minute items you forgot or would rather try on than order in the wrong size, two indoor restrooms, and well-manicured sand footing in the show and schooling rings. If you have any suggestions, please let us know!

HUNTERMARK SUMMER EQUITATION SERIES - The points earned in every equitation class will be tracked throughout the summer show series (USEF and MIHJA shows). The rider with the most equitation points at the end of the series will have their name engraved on the traveling trophy and will be awarded a $200 scholarship for the 2007 Winter Series. At the end of the season ribbons will be awarded to the top 10 high point eq. riders. Points will be awarded as follows: 1st-10, 2nd-6, 3rd-4, 4th-2, 5th-1, 6th-0.5 regardless of the number of exhibitors.

HUNTERMARK SUMMER JUMPER SERIES - Points from the jumper classes will be used to determine the top 10 high point jumper riders as above. Winner’s name is engraved on traveling trophy and they are awarded a monogrammed cooler.

TACK SHOP / CONCESSION STAND - Huntermark Tack Service is located just beyond the club room in the main barn. It will be open during the show both days with Theresa Armetta there to help you. You’re welcome to look around any time, and if you would like to make a purchase before or after the show, just let Rachel or Jan know. The Huntermark Café is adjacent to the tack shop and will be open during the show both days. The menu includes Taco in a bag, sandwiches, pizza, and more.

MEASUREMENTS - All junior and pony hunters must possess and present to the show office, a current USEF measurement card or be measured on grounds. Horses and ponies will be measured Saturday morning in the North Barn.

USEF MEMBERSHIP CARDS - All participants (riders, owners, trainers, coaches, agents, or lessees) must present to the competition secretary a current USEF membership card or copy thereof, or he/she must sign an affidavit and pay a $5 affidavit fee (for members who don’t have their card) or USEF/USHJA non-member fees (for anyone who isn’t a member).

HORSE ID NUMBERS - All horses competing in USEF recognized horse shows must be properly identified and must obtain a Horse ID Number from USEF. An ID number for each horse must be entered on all entry forms. Only one Horse ID Number will be issued per horse, and must remain with the horse throughout its career. Anyone knowingly applying for a duplicate Horse ID Number may be subject to disciplinary action. See USEF Rule VII, Chap. IV Art. 811.

ARIAT DISCOUNT FOR EXHIBITORS - All exhibitors will receive a 15% discount on all styles of Ariat paddock boots, tall boots, shoes, and half chaps in stock at the Huntermark Tack Service located between the Club Room and the Huntermark Café. Riders may simply show their entry number to Theresa in the tack shop as a coupon to receive the 15% discount. The discount even applies to items already on sale!

FIRST 5 HORSES GET $5 - The first five (5) entries in the ring in the first classes in the morning on both Saturday and Sunday (Schooling/Baby Green) will each have $5 deducted from their bill. Although it is a small show due to limited stabling, it is a long schedule and we want to get through everyone’s classes in a reasonable time period. Your cooperation throughout the show is appreciated, but we are looking for the first 5 horses to get the ball rolling. Please check in early in the morning with the in-gate and post for these first 5 spots, and then be ready to go in order to hold your place and collect your bonus.
